Aleks Marinkovic

Creative Leader | Innovation & Design Consultant | Helping Global Organisations Embed Human-Centred Innovation

Aleks Marinkovic is an experience design consultant, creative lead and strategic advisor who has spent more than thirty years helping organisations make sense of complexity through human centred design. His career spans agency and enterprise environments, from global advertising networks to large scale digital transformation programmes inside multinational corporations. Across every chapter, the thread remains the same. A commitment to understanding people, shaping culture and creating conditions where innovation can genuinely take root.

Aleks has worked with some of the world’s most recognised brands, including Novartis, HSBC, Procter and Gamble, Samsung, Syngenta, BASF and Avis. His approach blends design craft with strategic insight, allowing him to translate human needs into practical systems that help organisations change from within. He is known for his ability to work across boundaries. Moving comfortably between senior leadership, technical teams and frontline employees. Always anchoring decisions in evidence, empathy and clarity.

From 2015 onward Aleks led a multi-year effort inside Novartis to build human centred design capability across the organisation. This work shaped the company’s approach to user experience, employee experience and cultural transformation. His team created frameworks, playbooks, research platforms and training programmes that reached thousands of associates worldwide. The impact of that work continues to influence how the organisation innovates today.

Before Novartis, Aleks held senior roles at Infosys, Avis Budget Group and Saatchi and Saatchi. Each role helped sharpen his understanding of how people behave inside systems. How organisations resist change. And how creativity, when applied with discipline, can create new momentum.

Today Aleks continues to advise global businesses on design, culture and innovation. His work focuses on creating environments where people feel able to think, experiment and contribute without fear. He believes great organisations are built at human scale. That experience is the new differentiator. And that meaningful change begins with listening.

He writes, speaks and consults internationally. His forthcoming book explores how organisations can build resilience and clarity in an age defined by volatility, complexity and change.
